Avo Toast

Sometimes the simplest recipes are the most delicious. This breakfast has it all, with minimal ingredients.


Avocado's healthy fat and high-fiber whole-grain bread makes this an extra satisfying meal. Choose any variety of whole-grain bread, including gluten-free options like buckwheat and brown rice.


 

RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:


1/2 avocado, mashed

1 slice 100% whole-grain bread, toasted

Pinch pink or kosher salt

Freshly squeezed lemon juice


PREPARATION:


1. Spread the mashed avocado on the toast, season with salt, and sprinkle with fresh lemon juice to taste.
